The new CEO of Twitter, Linda Yaccarino, is following Shiba Inu (SHIB) on the platform.
Elon Musk announced Linda Yaccarion as the new CEO of Twitter earlier today. Now, news has come out that she follows Shiba Inu (SHIB). At the moment, it is not clear how interested Yaccarion is in the meme coin, but she shows that she is aware of the digital asset.
Last night Elon Musk announced that he was going to appoint a new CEO for the social media site. Moreover, he said the new CEO would start the new position in six weeks. As a result, today, it was announced that Yacccarino would be taking over the job.
As soon as Elon Musk said he would step down as CEO of Twitter, rumors started going around about who might take his place. Subsequently, more rumors started to spread that the final replacement would be Linda Yaccarino.
I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!
@LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology.
Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app. https://t.co/TiSJtTWuky

Then, before the confirmation, people started saying that the possible new CEO of Twitter liked Shiba Inus (SHIB). So, those rumors turned out to be true because Yaccarino does follow the official Twitter account of the meme coin.
Yaccarino, Twitter, and Shiba
At the time, Yaccarino was only following 1161 Twitter accounts, one of which was the meme coin. On the other hand, there was a lot of talk about how involved or interested the new CEO was in the digital asset. Even after it was discovered that Yaccarino didn’t follow any other cryptocurrency accounts, the rumors continued.
It adds to the idea that she might like Shiba Inu, more than a cryptocurrency advocate. On the other hand, Yaccarino hasn’t talked about the idea in public, so no one knows how interested she is. But the SHIB Army was excited because they knew that the new Twitter CEO knew about the ecosystem of the meme coin.
Musk said today that Yaccarion would be put in charge of the platform’s “business operations.” Moreover, Musk will continue to work on “product design and new technology.” Musk also said that he was excited to have the new CEO join the team. He said the hire was another step toward turning the social media site “into X, the everything app.”
Musk had already said that he planned to leave the job before the official news came. Musk noted in particular that he wanted to move into more of an executive role. After that, they oversaw the creation of products and software to help the platform grow.
